Thomá is a servant leader who grew up in Nashville, TN, with three Greek grandparents and one Scott-Irish. He was raised in Southern and Greek cultures as well as in the Greek Orthodox Church; so, he proudly accepts being a "Greek Hillbilly". Thomá also spent many years as an athlete (football, soccer, track, etc.), businessman (traveling to 45 of the 50 United States), and he's a father of three amazing daughters. As the son of a scuba-diving police officer, a hardworking mom, and two loving siblings, he grew up with positive influences that encouraged him to serve others.
After a series of life-altering events, God showed Thomá a path forward, which included a revelation to move to Venice, FL. Thomá settled in Venice on Memorial Day weekend in 2024. In September 2025, Thomá had a chance encounter with our FCA Area Director, Mike. The rest, as they say, is history. He dropped "everything" to pick up his cross daily. God is using Thomá and his love of the Lord, along with all his life lessons, to serve the coaches and students of Sarasota County!
When he's not serving, he prefers to be in his "2nd church" (i.e., Nature), getting hugs from God. And of course, spending time with family and friends.
